Understanding you, your business and your market

Kevin O'Brien - Programming and Online Marketing (Oxford Office)

Kevin has over ten years experience in Internet development, programming and computer modeling having gained an Honours Degree in Physics and a MSc in Computer Graphics.

He spent several years at Harwell laboratories working as parallel computing author of a major parallel package now used by ANSYS CFX (Fluid dynamics modeling company). Moving into web development Kevin spent over two years gaining valuable eCommerce expertise as one of the original developers of the first UK online bookshop The Internet Bookshop , now www.whsmith.co.uk

Joining a small web design agency called S P New Media which later became part of the XKO Software Group, Kevin played a major part in developing backends for major blue chip companies Websites as well as the development of an in-house Content Management System and Shopping Cart systems.

Over the last six years he has been concentrating on online advertising including Search Engine Optimization and Pay-For-Click advertising and is now a Google Adwords qualified professional. He started Web Markets Ltd and Web Power Services over five years ago.

Out of many interests Kevin enjoys Cycling, Electronics and Travel.

Steve Haynes - Web Design (North London Office)

Steve also has over ten years experience designing Websites and has been involved at all levels - strategy, design, build, project management and client liaison. This has given him a very real understanding of branding, audience targeting and site usability.

His web work started as a natural progression from desktop publishing where he worked for a leading academic publisher and then on a freelance basis. He developed his web design skills at Easynet then moved to a start-up web design agency in Oxford where he played an important part in the development of the company that grew to twenty employees and was bought by XKO in 2000. Over this time he has designed Websites for many companies including Easynet, Freeserve, Travelocity, Page & Moy, The London Symphony Orchestra, Man, Truck & Bus, XKO, British Holidays, Wembley Drum Centre and Purple Quote.

Steve's big love is music and he plays drums and guitar.

For other aspects of the Web Design process such as copywriting and flash animation we regularly use a small pool of freelancers.
